I wanted my contents page to be clear and easy to follow. I used light grey for the page numbers and dark grey for the page titles. I think this makes it easier to see where the pages and divided up and easier to read. I have used three pictures. one is a set of Polaroid’s I’ve taken at festivals and nights out to tie in with the 'festival guide' story. I have included a photograph as my friend jack, naming the story 'blck jck' (short for black jack') and also a photograph of myself and a friend in a bar with a quote said by us and the page number beside. Originally I was going to put "in this month" down the side of the page, however as I did this last time I felt I should vary with layouts. i put "in this month" at the top and a tag line underneath to tie in with the main genre covered for the month, which is electro. "bros hoes & sweet sweet electro!"I’ve used modern slang to make it attractive and appealing, yet understandable by a certain age group. my target audience is 17 – 25.
